MJK, Woodson, TX

Today was a rainy day so there weren't many people out at the park so I prayerwalked the whole time. As this week comes to an end God has taught me a lot. The main thing is obedience to watch and listen to what He is trying to tell me. This has been a great week and I hope to continue what God has done and doing in me.

MLS, Midland, TX

This week has taught me what missions is all about. I've shared the gospel and shared my testimony with O. He was very open and receptive. He's going home tonight and reading John. We plowed even through bad weather. His will was made known that he will be made famous no matter what. This experience has built me up so much. LTG and SC both were amazing. The bathrooms have blacklights in them and it rocked my world. This week was amazing and every second was important. I got to grow relationsihps with O and especially D. I pray our example will prove our words true. I will the conversations, food, and everything. But with this I can grow in Christ. Yahtzee. The leaders are amazing!

ABC, Waco, TX

Today was our last day at the park. I didn't get the chance to talk to anyone though because it was raining but I got to P walk the whole time and it was really good. This week has been really cool, God has been teaching me a lot about obedience. It has been good to meet new people and share our faith. JS has had some good talks about the church and the bottom line of church. We go shopping tomorrow then I'll be back.

EAH, Mont Belvins, TX

Today was a great day. This morning was raining and dreary, though God just doesn't work in perfect weather- He works in all types. We had a great SC and the best LTG time with M and S. One of our guys got to talk to this man who is trying to find something to believe in. This week has been amazing. God has taught me so much about being patient and waiting on His call. As I'm writing this I'm eating Mexican doner, you should try it, amazing? Oh yes. By the way, their eis, which is commonly known as ice cream in Texas, is amazing! I hate to say it, but Blue Bell is horrible compared to eis here.

LM, College Station, TX

Lots of rain today. It did not change anything. We still prayer walked and had conversations with people. We did not see D. Today, we may try to see him tomorrow. Talked to MA, a Muslim from Iraq. He believes Muslims, Christians and Jews are pretty much the same. We share the Gospel with him-a seed has been planted. God has taught me much this week. I am trying to own what I have learned and put it into practice. I look forward to how God is going to use me at home. I have seen how intense prayer and Scripture reading can impact lives.

MNS, Derby, KS

Howdy! Today has been good. God has showed me that the reason He made me move, and took away my friends and even sent me to Germany is because He wants me to be an M in my school and these are the things I learned here to do that. The whole week has been, frankly, confusing. I'm really excited about coming home and getting to see how I can apply what I've learned here. God has really given me a vision for D High. Ya'll pray for Evan (like eve-vahn). She's a lady S and I talked to. She says she used to be catholic and she still believed in God, but she left the church because of her income. She said she would like to tithe if she wasn't forced to. Anyway, it was really rainy thing morning, so we went to *bux for LTGs, which was Guile! I love you all! Much love and many hugs.

CR, Wylie, TX

Today we had a sweet SC and LTG at Starbucks, out of the rain. Despite the weather we had some serious plowing and the chance to talk to a Muslim, he was extremely nice. Later I found love in a Mexican doner. Beautiful. The bathrooms are amazing, yet small. My fearless leader, California, was AMAZING, and fearless, and she was my leader. J was OK. This whole week was great. (There C)

SMM, Early, TX

Today it rained the whole time we were at the park. One of our leaders said it best though; "We are the last team to come to Germany with this organization, so what better way to go out than plowing." It's to leave with a big push off I guess is how he said it. It made me see things differently, prayer has so much more meaning behind it. Prayer isn't a part of hwat we do, it is what we do. (Kinda changed it for this purpose). This week God has really shown me how he is so great and how I am so small. It's exciting really; there needs to be more of Him and less of me. Also, the power of prayer has really been exemplified greatly in this time. There's more but I can't quite put them into words yet.

AP, Joshua, TX

Hellooo! Today was a great day. We had SC and LTGs and they went great. It was rainy so all we did was PR but it was still awesome. This week God has really showed me that I need to start really ministering on my campus. Love you guys, see ya on Tuesday. XOXO

AP Joshua, TX

Hey guys! So after a long week of plowing, I finally got to talk to someone. I only talked to her for about 10 min but it was still nice. The days are continuously tiring, but all is well. I seriously love it here, but I still cant wait to come home. My watch has officially turned my wrist green. Ill try to call you guys again Monday. That will be our free day and Ill have more time. I love you guys!

MJK Woodson

Today we came to the park, has SC and then we did a little bit of LTGs and I think it's going to be pretty fun. I didnt get to talk to anybody that knew english and could understand but I prayerwalked all day and it was great just being able to see God closing doors and being able to be obedient to Him. I am still shy about talking in front of people and its hard for me to talk a lot in SC but I think hopefully Im coming out of it. People are so encouraging and helpful.

EAH Mont Belvieu, TX

Wow. Today has just been simply amazing. I go tto talk to C and I. They bother were former protestant and they had at least 7 dogs. We got to talk to them for at least twenty minutes and i really really want to meet up with them tomorrow at the park. God is so amazing! Tomorrow is our last day and then Monday is our free day and early Tuesday morning we leave. I dont want to go home. I absolutely love it here.

SMM Early, TX

We prayer walked the parks today. I really love to talk to God, well for more than 10 minutes at a time at last. I didnt really get into a conversation w/ anyone. I did go up to a few peopl ebut it went as far as "Sprechen Sie Englisch?"..."Nein." Im just glad I was obedient to God by going to them. Im excited to see how God is going to use the rest of my time here.

LM College Station

MS and I played basketball with D today and shared the Good News with him. MS also shared his testimony. D was nice and listened, but said he was fine and took care of himself just fine. Keep praying for him. God is teaching me much this week. How can I best disciple others? How can I help Christians to embrace their role as an m!

MNS Derby, KS

Today I got to talk to two ladies walking their dogs together, they had like six dogs! We did get to talk a little about their beliefs. K use to be a protestant (at least that's what she said) but she felt like the church didnt give enough money to the poor. So now, she doesnt really believe anything. M & L go to talk to D some more and present the Gospel, but he turned it down pretty flatly. Did a lot of PR and Ill try to email. love & hugs

MLS Midland

Today was a trial by fire. I finally got to share my testimony and the Gospel with D. He heard it byt is far from God. He started out on the -10 to 10 scale as a -10 and hopefully he went to a -9. I pray that he'll think about what all was said later. It hurts, but I still see the whole deal as a success we answered the call adn planted the seed. Ive learned a lot from this experience. Continue to pray for him. I have a lot on my mind, but it's a good thing. I have lots of new ideas that I plan to share when I gethome. Got pizza last night. I cried due to the delisciousness factor. I also saw the sweetest mustache known to mankind. I cant wait for tomorrow.

ABC Waco, TX

Hey, Today it was all rainy but it cleared up by the afternoon. We have been having a lot of lessons in the morning about church planting, it's been very interesting. I met another nice girl today and we got to talk for a few minutes and she said she kinda believes in God but it's everyones own ideas. We are going to talk tomorrow if it's not raining. Tomorrow is our last day at the park then we have Monday to shop. It's goin got be so hot wen I get back to Texas, it feels so good here. My group & leaders ahve really been great. We have all been able to really open up and get along well. I hope the lake is down by the time I get home. Love Ya

M.N.S. DERBY, KS

hey yall, today was interesting. we wen tto a mosque and got a sort of tour. afterwards the guy in charge invited us to have tea which we accepted. it was father cause they let a few of the girls sit with the guys. usually thats not exceptable. they were really nive and the guys there were really important. also MSC got to talk to a girl named M. i didnt talk to here, but i pr ed the whole time. and it was AWESOME because i knew that was where father wanted me right then. i love you all and miss you. love and hugs. P.S. rabbits are grooming squirrels.

E.A.H. MONT BELVIEU

today we didnt spend much time at the park or pr walked. but father is so amazing. today our trek went to the mosque and got to look around and ask questions about what they believe. but father wasnt finished there. they invited our trek for tea and normally that never never happens. they usually dont ever even let women into this room to have tea. and we had the honor to sit in the room and have tea AND the head guy of the mosque actually sat with and beside some of the girls. we were told that he was trying to be round for us as we were trying to be round for them. simply today was amazing.

L.M. COLLEGE STATION

Father gave us a unique opportunity today. we toured a turkish mosque. we pr ed while we were there. we had tea with some of the leaders. our friend D (the ice cream man) was not able to play basketball today, but we were able to talk with him some today. he even initiated a gesture of friendship by shaking our hands when we left today. pr that we will be able to play basketball tomorrow. father completely changed my plans today. MS and I wanted to talk with D and we went to a mosque. we planned on playing basketball and it did not work out. father knows what he is doing.

S.M.M. EARLY

Father is amazing. today we had an amazing experience. we were able to tour a very prestige religious establishment. it was very fortunate for the girls in our group to go inside and even more be invited to tea. we had a change to be round and we did okay. then after pr walking me and A began a discussion with 2 german woman. we got to takl to them for a while and we wxchanged emails. we werent able to talk about our faith, but hopefully we will be able to build relationships via email first

A.B.C. WACO

so our park is right by a turkish mosque and we got to take a tour in there. afterwards they insisted we have tea and i felt right at home in teh mosque and drinking turkish tea. after that we went to our park and i met two more girls today that were very nice and we exchanged email addresses. alot of germans here say they are christians but they dont really folllow father or go to church. its funny to hear their ideas on americans. they all watch MTV a lot and tell me thats where they learn english. hope all is well

A.P. JOSHUA

hey guys, wow!! today our group got to tour a turkish mosque. it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. it was such a priviledge to be in a place like that. we also got to drink tea in a place where women are not normally allowed. we got to pr ina place wehre fahter is never even mentioned. it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. ill have to really explain it when i get homre. it was great to talk to yall last night, cant wait to see you. the chocolagte here is beyond amazing and everyday i try to try a different one. the weather has still been pretty good. i wish it was like this in texas. love you

M.J.K. WOODSON

today has been the best day of the week. i have learned tons today. pr walking is one of the main things here and i really enjoy. i got to go inside a mosque and pr to father where he has never been worshipped. we met some really friendly people. i need lots of pr for boldness and courage so that i can be obedient and not feel horrible for being to scared to do what father wants me to do. its teh worst feeling in the world.

M.L.S. MIDLAND

today was ground breaking for 2 reasons. first i got the honor to pr in a mosque. second im becoming good friends with D, on the way out he took the initiative to shake our hands. didnt get to play today, but maybe tomorrow. reading Jesus freaks on this trip makes things easier. jello is amazing, but i could use a sloppy joe right now and might come back diabetic, but hopefully not sleeping well and learning a lot. saw a ferrari candy apple red and amazing. i expect great things to happen,, but its all up to father. rabbits are germany's squirrels. david crowder would be pleased.

C.R. WYLIE

today we had the sweetest opportunity to enter into a Mosque and pr inside it. they strongly insisted we stay for tea and seemed crazy grateful to meet us. later at the park we got to play some more football with some new guys. the conversation was short but still was there.

MLS MIDLAND

Today was amazing. L. and I got to talk to D today for about 2 to 3 hours. We got a pretty good relationship going. D. gave us a 2 for the price of one with ice cream. We talked about everything, but didn't feel christ telling us to share our faith quite yet. Tomorrow we're gonna try to go play basketball. I feel this could lead to good things. As for me I got a little soar and lunch today didn't quite do it for me. Culture is very different but that could be said if the setting was the opposite people are friendly and are impressed about Texas and I got to tell the story of goat and stitches o 'houlahan, it made me laugh.

MNS DERBY

Hey ya'll! Today was good, it really flew by. Yeah, i know, that was a commasplice. I got to talk to 2 girls who were both 24. While we where in sc, I was watching them tanning and i felt like i shoud talk to them, but first i pr for 45 min. When i got back they were still there, so i took it as a sign. One was called a and one c. A was really friendly and C was reading Harry Potter in english. It was really cool. We talked about soome spiritual stuff. I hope we where a good witness. Well, I love you a lot. Moch love and many hugs.

A.P. JOSHUA, TEXAS

Hellooo Texas! Today was another fun day, I have bliters inside my blisters from walking, but it's all worth it. I had my first chocolate last night... I twas awesome! Don't worry, i'll bring you some home. I've been taking as many pictures as I can, but we sometimes get really busy. But we have a free day monday, so i'll take them all then. Speaking of which me and c. are probably going to the zoo that day, they say it's worth it. I;ll try to call tonight we have about 2 hours of free time everynight, so i;ll try to get you gus from stuff. Well i miss you guys and love you. Give all my pets hugs and kisses!

ABC WALO, TEXAS

So today was pretty good, we went out to the park and prayer walked and talked to people. I met two different ladies and they were both really friendly and spoke pretty good english. A lot of Germans here are catholic but they don't go to church. The food at the hostel is delicious, but i walk probubly ten miles a day so it all burns off. My trek team is great, i've learned a lot from everyone. Hope all is well.

M.S.K WOODSON

Today has been a great day we prayerwalked and talked to people if we felt lead to. It's awesome to be able to listen and be abesient to God there is no better feeling in the world. This past week I have learned a lot of different things this week the main thing is prayer and then just waiting and listening and watching to see if God is gonna give you a sign or something. I pray that the rest of the week goes great and that God speaks to everybady and that everybady listens.

EAH MONT BELVIEU, TEXAS

Today, well was simply amazing! I'm sitting in our park for this week and I just got done talking to this lady and her dog. Most of the people here go to the Dom here for services, though they say it's to strict. I love it here so much, the people here are so nice and willing to help you learn German. Though when we repeat it, we can never get it right. We're trying!

CR WYLIE, TEXAS

Today we returned to the park, and continued prayer walking. The few people we approached weren't willing to talk(or couldn't), until the end of the day we played some football with some football fanatics who were decked out in their teams jerseys, but not the cologne team the, they evedently are bad.

LM COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS

What a day. After the teaching on sowing and small church on Acts 9-16 we spent some time prayer walking. After that, m.s. and i went back to the ice cream man from yesterday. We learned more about him and continued our new friendship. He wants to play basketball with us tomorrow, but he has to work. Pray that God will continue to open doors, especially that we will be able to play basketball with d. tomorrow.

SMM EARLY, TEXAS

Today me and another girl in my trek were able to talk to a women. We weren't able to talk to her about christ, but she did say she was christian and catholic. Not many people hee attend church, she doesn't either. Other people in my trek were able to talk to different people. The chocolate here is awesome just as the ice cream; promise i'm not obsessed with food. And i've learned not to touch the plants, ouch! Please continue to pray for the people here. They are ripe for harvest.

EAH Mont Belvieu, TX

Greetings from Koeln! I hope you guys are having an amazing time back home and enjoying the wonderful TX weather. I just got done doing prayerwalking with 4 girls from the trek. From about 2pm to 6 and woah. Its been an Amazing experience. Ive been getting sick a lot lately but no worries. Im doing fine. This afternoon we had our 'simple church' with my trek and it was great. I cant wait to get back and tell you all the wonderful things God has done already. Oh, and if my youth pastor's wife is reading this...Ive found someone who looks exactly like you. :)

MNS Derby, KS

Today has been interesting. We started out with Bible Study adn stuff and then we went to prayer walk. At first it was really frusterating. I couldnt figure out what to say and I felt like I was doing a bad job, so I was really hard on myself, but then for the last 30 minutes somehow it changed. I dont know if I finally hit my stride or what happened. I bought you a ton of choco when we stopped, Dad! Mom can have some too. Germany kids are so cute!
Just a random fact. I miss everyone bunches. I love the people in my group! yay! I have to be quiet all the time, though, or S will yell at me :) Germans are really quiet, which is why I have to be. We have to be 'round' and fit in. Well, this was very badly written, but Im multi-tasking. Much love!!!

LM College Station, TX

The morning began with reading Acts 1-8 and listening to God. Our teaching time involved being desperatefor God and plowing (prayer walking) After lunch we went to our site for simple church time and several hours of prayer walking. Our progress was directed by what we saw and as the spirit led us. God allowed MS and I to begin a relationship with the eis man. We learned that several have tried with him this summer without success. He shared several things with us with little prompting. Pray that God will continue to open his heart and give us opportunities to talk with him.

AP Joshua, TX

Hey everyone! Today was our first day in the park. I am super tired! The photo ops here are AWESOME! Hope you guys are having fun without me, its your last opportunity. haha. The trams here are so fun! I could ride them all day. The park we're in is really big! (Mom tell scott I said that) Our hostel is very nice and the food is AMAZING!!! Mom give matt a big hug & kiss for me! The scenery here is so beautiful! The weather is great! I love and miss you guys!

MSK Woodson

Today we prayerwalked for 3 hours and had SC for 2. It was great. I learned that prayerwalking is a whole lot better than it sounds and easier. We will be doing a lot of prayerwalking this week and it's going to be great to see God answering our prayers. There are so many difernet people here so this week is going to be awesome. Some of the food is really good and some is just alright.

CR Wylie, TX

Today we had some studying in the hostel till lunch and the rest of hte day we prayer walked in our park. It was intense. Im ready for tomorrow.

ABC Waco, TX

Today was great, this afternoon we met in our groups and went out to our park where we'll be all week. We had discussion for an hour and prayerwalked for 3 or so hours. The food here has been great so far, we ate falafel yesterday! Ill never pick up German I dont think, I can still barely say thanks. And of course there is no censorship here so it's pretty interesting.

SMM Early

Today we prayer walked for nearly 3 hours. It was an amazing new experience to walk around with your eyes open and speaking it out loud. Im hoping we will be able to see results even before I leave but I know being able to pray for a certain person or place here makes a greater or more personal difference than prayer for this country or city in general. There are some very interesting & different things Ive seen in the parks here. lol. It helps add to what we pray though. Oh and the eis is amazing here!

MLS Midland

Today was great! I got to really understand prayerwalking. L and I got a chance to have a conversation with an ice cream guy that we later found out wont talk to most people so pray for him. There are so many opportunities here that I wish that I can capitalize on. Food is different and slept like a rock after getting knocked out by Chuck Norris. Things keep popping up to show me new things. Got my luggage late but no worries. No hairy people. Eis is good and my randomosity is done for the day.
